Minutes of the Faculty Senate Curriculum Committee Meeting

Committee members present:
Anthony Hollingsworth (Chair), Chris Menton, Joan Romano, Registrar (ex officio), Mark Sawoski, Charles Thomas, Yajni Warnapala,
The meeting was called to order at 2:05 p.m.
Item 1: Announcements made by chair and registrar regarding the implementation of the new curriculum generator application, Curricunet.
Currently, the end-user interface is complete. The registrar is waiting for IT to work with the designers of Curricunet to populate the database with current course and program records. Anticipated implementation is first or second week (early) of October. Training sessions for faculty will be announced in October.

Item 3: Committee held online meeting with Curricunet developer, Steve Thyberg (ST). Committee shown how developers incorporated faculty comments (during summer meetings) into the final iteration of the application. ST also demonstrated the procedures for creating several different types of proposals in Curricunet. Lastly, developer confirmed implementation dates and training timelines.
